ILLINOIS MANDATED TRAININGS
CURRENT AS OF 2023 MANDATES
Below is information/links to take each of the state mandated trainings. Frequency of completion of these trainings varies, and may depend on your specific licensing. ALL STAFF (including office administrative) IS REQUIRED TO TAKE THE ILLINOIS SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING EVERY CALENDAR YEAR.
Once successful training has been completed/certificate has been issued, please email to the office manager at office@picaassoc.net, and include receipt for reimbursement if applicable.
SEXUAL HARASSMENT TRAINING*
(NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED ANNUALLY)
This course needs to be completed annually by all staff. (If a certified course is taken through another employer, please send your certificate for us to have on file).

MANDATED REPORTER TRAINING
(NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED EVERY 3 YEARS)
Every health care worker/mental health worker who sees a minor patient at any time (even if it is just one a year) needs to do the state required Mandated Reporter for Child Abuse Training. If you have already completed this training in another format please send the certificate.
Once this training is complete, the certification is good for 3 years. If you need to complete this training, the link to do this is below. Also if you need your certificate from previous years, once you log into your account you will be able to view previous certificates.
ALZHEIMER’S/DEMENTIA TRAINING
(NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED one time per license renewal period)
Beginning in 2023, all Health Care professionals, Nurses, Podiatrist, Nursing Home Personals, Respiratory therapists, Speech and Audiology therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, Physicians, Optometrist, Counselors, Psychologists, and Social Workers are required to have one-hour course in training on the diagnosis, treatment, and care of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias per license renewal period. This is an Illinois requirement per the Illinois Health Care Professionals license renewal requirement per IL Public Act 102-0399.
IMPLICIT BIAS TRAINING
(NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED one time per license renewal period)
Beginning in 2023, all health care professionals/mental health professionals are required to take a 1-hr. Implicit Bias Training per license renewal period. This is an Illinois requirement for all health care professionals per IL 20 ILCS 2105/2105-15.7
